Learning through nature
Curiosity grows outdoors
Nature offers endless opportunities for learning. Children observe, question and explore the world around them. Language, movement and problem-solving grow naturally.

The outdoors teaches in its own way
Children learn perseverance by balancing on uneven ground. They extend vocabulary while planting and harvesting. They collaborate naturally when building dens or negotiating shared tools. These experiences stay with them.

Growing, caring, and understanding
In every Charter Nursery, children grow vegetables. They plant, water, harvest, and taste what they have nurtured. Some of our nurseries also keep chickens, giving children daily responsibility and a real understanding of care. These experiences are purposeful. They build patience, curiosity, and respect for living things. They connect children to the natural world and to each other.

Movement matters
Physical development underpins attention, independence and self-belief.
All our nurseries provide regular gym sessions and soft play, with older children taking part in structured movement, dance and early sport.
As part of a family of high-performing schools, progression is planned carefully. Physical development is ambitious and joyful - and children leave us strong in body and confident in spirit.
